El actor Tom Cruise y la actriz Cameron Díaz se encuentran inmersos en la grabación de la película Knight&Day, que se estrenará en 2010 y que recreará el encierro de San Fermín en Pamplona. Sin embargo, esta película ‘made in Hollywood' no será rodada en Navarra sino que el escenario elegido por Century Fox son en las calles de Cádiz, según informa La Voz de Cádiz.
Para ello, ya se han colocado varios postes que simulan el vallado de Pamplona por las calles gaditanas, a la espera de comenzar el rodaje el próximo mes. La productora ya ha seleccionado a 1.200 extras si bien las escenas estrictamente taurinas serán protagonizadas por 'expertos'. Incluso barajan la posibilidad de que reconocidos corredores formen parte del rodaje. Pero no sólo eso. Según ha trascendido, la parte final del encierro, la de la entrada a la plaza de toros, se grabara en la Maestranza de Sevilla.
¡Protesta ya!
CAS International ha elaborado una carta de protesta, que ha entregado a los actores y sus productoras, y ahora os animamos a enviarla. No permitamos que tradiciones torturantes y sangrientas sigan fomentándose a través del cine. Esta no es la España que queremos.

Dear Miss Diaz and Mr. Cruise,
Recently we were informed through a pro-bullfighting website* that you are going to recreate the bull runs in Pamplona for your next movie 'Knight & Day'. Bulls will be chased through the streets of Cádiz and into the bullring of Sevilla (Andalusia, Spain) just to produce the images needed for this movie.
Perhaps you are not aware that these bull runs are very cruel towards the bulls. They are subjected to stress and injuries and most of them are killed afterwards, during a bullfight or in another manner. The Running of the Bulls in Pamplona are the most famous example of this animal abuse, because also a lot of people get injured during this event and many American tourists participate in these atrocities. If you look at photos and videos of past events, you will see and feel the suffering of the bulls.
Please help the animals by telling the producers that you do not want to participate in this animal abuse. Not only will bulls be abused for this movie, but even more American (and other) tourists will be visiting the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona and other cruel events with bulls in Spain. This way, this animal abuse will never end and all efforts of animal protection organizations against this kind of events will be undone.

PLEASE make rure that this movie does not contain images of bull runs or any other form of animal abuse, because we are sure that if you film these images, more bulls will be abused (not only during the making of the movie, but also because many 'new' tourist will be interested in the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona). PLEASE tell the producers that you do not wish to participate in and promote this kind of events. Especially miss Diaz has done so much for nature and the environment, that we do not understand why you would want to take part in this animal abuse.
