The measure is part of a general increase in public funds allocated to bullfighting in 2025-2026: Madrid will allocate €7.2 million (59.7% more than in 2025), while subsidies to pro-bullfighting entities have gone from €905,000 to €2.4 million in the last year, according to official data.
